I received 3 Charity open licenses to install on Church PCs (non-Dell) and was led to believe I could load the WINXP-pro software from the Dell reinstall CDs provided with the Church Dell PCs. After loading, the product key from the open license did not take, and activation did not work (did not recognize the authorization ID). Question-can I use the Dell reinstall WINXP-pro disk to load to other machines, or is this disk unique to the Dell machines and/or the Dell machine it was supplied with? How do I get past the software that already loaded, and will not activate? Thanks.   mloppnow@att.net.
