We really need a direct text entry method, supporting full copy and paste.
When I get typing really fast, I often see the app slow way down which causes the alternate keys (the ones you access by holding a key down) to be sent from time to time. Not good!
We also need the arrow keys built into the HTC EVO 4G keyboard to support sending as left, right, up, down keys. Currently, pressing those keys does nothing.

Thank you Purefusion for your feedback! we will work towards getting direct text entry. Regarding arrowkeys, Please click on menu-function keys. we have page up page down, arrow keys..Does that help? please let me know if you see any problems. Thanks!

Yes, I know about the arrow keys in the function keys menu. That's not the problem.
The problem is this: I have to use them so much that it makes my workflow within WYSE PocketCloud excessively laborious, complicated and extremely draining to have to constantly keep switching back and forth between the keyboard and function keys, just to use the arrows and switch back to the keyboard.
Since newer HTC devices like my EVO 4G have those arrow keys right on the keyboard, it would be extremely helpful to at least add support for them, since it's already a heavy part of the normal workflow in other apps, for those of us with these HTC devices. For what it's worth, I have already used those arrow keys at least five (counted) times in writing this reply, which I'm composing from the Android browser.
I honestly don't think it would take much development work to support those four extra buttons.
