Horizontal 2-finger touchpad not responding within Visual Basic Editor VBA
Hello everyone,
We hope you are all keeping well!
As the post title suggests, we have an issue while trying to scroll horizontally, while in the Visual Basic Editor within Office 365.
However, using the two, figure scrolling gesture on the trackpad, we are able to scroll vertically in every application including within VBA. However, when trying to scroll horizontally, nothing seems to respond. Manually selecting the scroll bar works simply fine. This issue only appears to occur within VBA, horizonal scrolling works in all other applications.
Things that have been tried, to no effect:
- Both off-line and online repairs
- Starting both, Office and the device in safe mode
- Disabling any antivirus
- Separate external mouse
- Checked for any updates, both within Office applications, Windows and Support Assist
- Uninstall and reinstall office 365 using both automatic and manual methods, while destroying all traces from the system
- Complete system reimage twice, first using an image from Dell and another using one directly from Microsoft
If anyone has any ideas at all, any and all input would be greatly appreciated!
Problem Device System Specs:
