Windows 10 Restart Problem

Hi all,

i am facing an issue with my XPS 9550.

When i initiate a reboot, it shows me that the laptop will be restarted. The screen goes dark (no back light), power button and keyboard backlight still up, when i press capslock the led stays off. I have to do a force shutdown using the power button to boot up Windows again. This issue happens only on a reboot, when i shutdown and power it on everything works as it should.

I have a clean installation of Windows 10, did the update to windows 10 2004 (the issue was already there before the update).

I have tried several bios Version: 1.7., 1.12.0 and 1.13.1 (current version)

I saw this post and tried the suggestions out, but no luck.

I was trying the commands from this YouTube Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8ABl5WFmPw

Did anyone of you experienced the same issue or has an idea to solve it?

Kind Regards,

Vadim

Press F8 during start up > Click Recovery: See Advanced Repair Options > Click Troubleshoot > Click Advanced Options > Click Start Up Settings > Click Restart

Once the computer restarts, select the option 6 on your keyboard for Enable Safe Mode With Command Prompt

Run the system file checker for errors:

    1:  sfc /scannow

Run DISM (Deployment Image Servicing and Management)

    2: Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

    3: Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

    4: Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

*I would like to note that this ONLY works in Safe Mode with Command Prompt*
