<p>Based in Ireland. Worked in IT since 1980. Started as a Cobol and Pascal programmer. Moved on to systems analysis and design, then into management. Retired in 2008. To understand your PC/Laptop/phone you need to know how it works. Be fearless with your screwdrivers. Open it up and poke about.  With a little care you will be well rewarded. I haven't destroyed a device yet. </p>
