So, a friends Area 51 r2 motherboard appears to be shot and as luck
would have it, it is also out of warranty... Anyhow, we were able to find an
open box Gigabyte x99P-SLI at a local Microcenter for $40. We picked up 2 at
that price:

I own an Area 51 r2 and I was wondering if it is possible to change the
motherboard, I have seen other posts' saying that it is possible, but it can be

currently puttingme off is that you cant replace the motherboard, when newer
proccesors come out such as the ivy bridge. Is there an way of replacing

Hi,
I'm looking to upgrade to a Corsair AIO. Does the Area 51 R2
