Alienware 15 R3

I just bought this laptop and it came with a 256gb ssd. After installing a few games I only have about 70 gb left. I'm wondering how to increase the memory so I can install more games. I'm new to the whole laptop and PC stuff so I don't know much but I do know this laptop has 3 other SSD slots and 1 HDD slot?

    Update.

Another Question. If I buy a 1TB SSD, would I have to buy Windows 10 for it?

    Hi @AztigcCj!

You're correct! Here are the hard drive options that you have available in your computer:

    Hard drive One 2.5-inch drive
    Solid-state drive (SSD)
    • Two full-size M.2 PCIe/SATA drives
    • One half-size M.2 PCIe/SATA drive

Regarding your other question, you can use the 1TB SSD for aditional storage, you don't need to buy another Windows 10 license for it.

Also, did your system come with 1TB HDD?

Yes, you will be able to do that. You just need to format the drive in Windows so that you can access it and install your games there. For that, you can follow the steps on this guide, which seems to be very detailed and explains the entire process.

No, mine did not but it does have the slot for it. :D

So with the additional storage SSD or HDD, will I be able to run games off of it even if I boot to my 256gb SSD with the o/s? Thank you :D
