I have two Alienware Area-51m. One of the laptop had a backlight failure. When I use a flashlight on the screen, I could see the screen clearly and I was able to also connect to external monitor and it worked. I decided to connect one of the screen with the other motherboard.

After that both screen give me display failure when I connect them back to their own motherboard. I don't know how it is possible that I burned the screen? I mean they are the same model and everything is the same. 

When I turn on the laptop, the laptop give me 2red and 7 blue codes. According to Dell, it is display failure. If I need to provide anymore into, let me know.
