Multipathing support in a 2008 R2 - Hyper-V scenario
i'm configuring a hyper-v cluster, for the storage part i'm using CSV on windows with a celerra NS-120 via iSCSI.
I would like to use MS iSCSI initiator and the native MPIO functionality.
I followed the documentation on powerlink (configuring iscsi targets on celerra) but I cannot find anywhere in the documentation some references on the balancing algorithms supported in this configuration (failover only/round robin/?) I also checked on the E-Lab interoperability matrix but I only found a single "old" validated configuration, based on powerpath 5.3
I am configuring iSCSI on Celerra (Data Movers) – not on CLARiiON backend.
I already had a look at the PowerPath-manual before – but it doesn’t provide information about configuration for Celerra-iSCSI (at least I couldn’t find it anywhere).
Did you find anything there? Or is PowerPath not supported with Celerra-iSCSI via DataMovers?

Holger

i don't even see the point of using PowerPath with Celerra iSCSI for failover, if datamover reboots you lose all paths ..it's not like when you are using CX backend.

Hi,
Are you configuring iSCSI Lun from Celerra or backend Clariion,
you can refer the powerpath document from powerlink for PP configurations :
