So I ordered a new desktop from dell on 10/16 (which showed in stock with a 3 to 5 day shipping) and after paying, I see that it says will arrive on or before 10/30 and tracking information will be sent to me when it ships. On 10/28 I called dell because it still has not shipped and was told that it should be shipped out for next day delivery on 10/29. On 10/30, still nothing until I check my email and I have email from dell saying that shipping will be delayed due to waiting on a component to arrive to complete the build (this was not a custom build btw, just a sale they were having) so my new delivery date will be on 11/8. As of this morning, still not shipping information sent to me so I call dell once again and I’m told not to worry that it will be shipped either this afternoon or first thing tomorrow. Okay, no problem... well, I just got a call from dell saying my ordered had been canceled due to a component “no longer being manufactured” REALLY?! I felt like cussing someone out but I didn’t... I was told I’d be refunded the full amount so I guess I’ll order a new computer from amazon and actually get it delivered.
