Disabled and treated like dirt

  • it pains me to even write this about a company i loved.  my machine went bad recently and to make a long story short, they botched the repair, sent it back, i had to send it back again and they told me it could not be fixed.  being disabled, i can only communicate by chat or email and the self-proclaimed head of dell, karan h, bullied me into taking a refurbished machine that runs so hot i can barely use it, the keyboard is messed up and it freezes at about an hour.
  • i begged and pleaded with this man for help and in return he me if i did not speak to him on phone he would close out my case and i would get nowhere as he was the head of customer service
  • he closed out my case and made up lies that i refused services when i never did and even though i offered him doctor verification of my disability he chose to treat me like garbage and i cannot seem to get over him
  • any help would be greatly appreciated as i would hate to have to think dell would stand by such ignorant behavior
  • he closed out my case again and i am powerless

Thank you for your message, I apologize for the experience you had to go through.

All system replacements after the return period will be a refurbished unit. This does not mean that it is a used system, any system which has been returned by a customer (used or unused), any system which has been removed from the original packaging will be termed as certified refurbished.

Although, I will not be able to change the outcome provided by the escalations team. I will have this escalated to the concerned & ensure that there is feedback provided.

Furthermore, why am I being addressed by someone in out of warranty repair when my machne had the best support Dell sells.  Why not from someone on your executive team who would no doubt be appalled at the way customer service treats those with special needs.

I am afraid, I will not be able to comment on that unless I check the case history.

For my reference, please click on the message tab next to your avatar– click “New Message” & search for my Dell username (Sreejith R) & send a private message with the service tag, registered name & email address.

How to locate the service tag

    Hi sir,

I thank you for being thewhat it isn' first person at Dell who seems genuinely concerned about your customers. Haram Karesh is a bully and so much so I have been stuck with a laptop I cannot even use as it has green glob in the screen, is so hot u can barely touch it.  Not to mention there is a green blob imbedded into the screen and already a crack on the bottom righthand corner. This machine

Thank you for your message. I had replied to your post here. Since the case is already handled by the escalations team our options are limited.

However, please private message the service tag along with the registered name & email address. Let me check the case history.
