Hi Chris,

No I do not believe you can customize the welcome screen to show different control panels. However you can create your own custom control panels and choose to display these when you login. This functionality is known as the Home Control Panel, and you can set the control panel by going to your user preferences and selecting it.

Due to the nature of Home Control Panels, they have to be hard coded to run over a time window and node(s). If a control panel has "User Selected" set for the time window or node then it won't be displayed in the list, as you can't select a time window or node for a Home Control Panel, as it runs automatically when you login.

Ok thanks but these leads me to another issue. In both the user preferences and user roles default control panel setting I only get a small number of control panels I have created as an option to select (not supplied control panels). Why is this? Thanks.

OK thanks, so I don't think I can achive what I wanted to which is to present a user with a set of control panels which they can  then select the run criteria, basically the welcome screen but customised, I will have to do this using a menu option.
