    Hi,

The appliance runs diagnostics task on all the discovered devices every 6 hours. When the size of log file increases to more than 512 MB, it gets purged automatically. The event is just a notification of that. There is nothing you should worry about.

Can I disable this new feature?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

We do not have a way to disable it from the appliance because this is to clear the space being used for running diagnostics task. I have passed on the request to right guys to see this should be marked Info.

Can email notifications for this be disabled via un-selecting the Category-Application-Configuration-Monitoring option?  I will give this a try.  This was just my best guess based on the email message details:

Can the Severity of this message be reclassified as 'NORMAL', since this appears to be a 'normal' operation of OpenManage Enterprise?    That way it can be filtered from notification paths that are more interested in things that require an action to be taken.
