Tools to setup EqualLogic
Hi,
I'm new here to this forum and I send you an email because I don't know elswhere to go with my question. I recently bought a refurbished (second hand) EQ PS5000E. Now I would like to start using it but I first need to configure it. Since I bought only hardware I didn't get the software along. Can you please help me with a copy of the Hit Kit to get my EQ up-and-running. I would really appreciate this.
Kind regards and sorry for bothering you.
Maarten

The HIT is only available to arrays with valid support contracts, if you have a valid support contract you can download the HIT at: support.dell.com/equallogic (login required).
To setup the array without the hit, you can use the serial interface.
The serial settings are: 9600 baud, no parity, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no flow control.
Regards,
Joe
