Exchange configuration on Isilon

Hi,

Is any one using Exchange on Isilon, we have provisioned NFS DS for exchange VM's using Static IP allocation method, the problem we have is whenever the node reboots due to some issue , the particular exchange server connected to that node gets rebooted

I want to change  the IP allocation method for the NFS clients from static to dynamic, but not sure whether exchange will work or no?

    Hi PriyalP7,

    What version of NFS are you using? If you are using NFSv3, the best practice is to use a dynamic pool. There are some other tuning parameters that are meant to make failover more seamless as well. I can't speak directly to how that will impact Exchange specifically.

    Hi SJones5,

    I;m using NFSV3 and from license status i see that smartconnect advanced is not configured but activated, will changing from static to dynamic work ?
