VNX to Isilon migration issue
When trying to migration a CIFS share from VNX to Isilon using the command below:
isi_vol_copy_vnx xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:/root_vdm_XXX/CIFS_name /ifs/data -sa ndmp user: -full
We then enter the password. The command appears to run but then times out with the following error:
Migration-id : 1, run-id : 0
LogMessage {type NDMP_LOG_DBG} {msg_id 0} {msg The process id for NDMP service is 0xef562d60} {associated_msg 0} {associated_msg_seq 0}

Error connecting server, Error: unknown error
The following is returned when running isi_vol_copy_vnx -list
No records found
Nothing is logged in /var/log/isi_vol_copy.log, which i am assuming where all isi_vol_copy_vnx issues are logged.

Yes we can, we can also telnet to the NDMP port (10000) with out any issues.

Checked that, there are no NDMP backups running on the VNX. Do you have a way to confirm this? I ran this command:
# server_log server_2|grep NDMP

Can you ping VNX IP from that node you ran isi_vol_copy_vnx from?
Look at error: Error connecting server, Error: unknown error
