Hello good people of the forums! My question of the day is if the Absolute LoJack product is available for the Alienware M18xR2 (Bios Version: A12) Thank you for your time.

I think it can be installed on any laptop, so I assume you are asking about BIOS level Persistence.

If you see the BIOS option to turn on LoJack or CompuTrace, then yes, it supports it.

Thanks TESLA1856. Yes I'm referring to the Persistence module. Unfortunately this doesn't answer my question but it had given me a few means of checking. Edit: So I figured I'd let you guys know that I did see the function called CompuTrace on the vA12 bios menu. I guess my last part of the question would be if it would operate correctly. I'll need an official answer on this since the Bios is the last thing people should be screwing around with :/

I recently took advantage of the 90 day trial key http://na.alienwarearena.com/giveaways/absolute-lojack-for-laptops-90-day-trial-key-giveaway

It appears i cannot select the computrace in the Bios menu. Is there a way so that i can select it and activate it? Will this void my warranty?
