Alienware 14 screen and video upgrade?
New to this forum, however not new to Alienware products. I do know that some things are upgradeable and others not. My question:
On the Alienware 14 (2013) can the screen and video cards be upgraded to the full HD, or am I stuck with the WLED screen with 1366x768. I'm pretty sure the video card can be upgraded to the GT 756m. I have the 750m in there now.

The video card is assemble into the motherboard so if you want to make an upgrade to the GTX 756 you will need to replace the motherboard.
On regards to the LCD you can upgrade to the FHD WLED Anti-Glare 1920 x 1080.

So, this motherboard has two cards imbedded in it? It lists an Intel HD graphics 4600 and the GeForce GT 750M?

Thanks for the info, looks like I'll be hunting down a new motherboard anyhow. The person I bought this one from must have spilled a drink under it while it was running and although it is operating okay, the blu-ray player is inoperable ( I changed it out with two other known good players) and it looks like the motherboard is the problem. When I replace, I'm going for the GT 765m board setup and rock out from there.

The Intel HD 4600 is apart of the CPU. The GT 750m is soldered onto the motherboard. The iGPU (Intel) is for power-savings on battery, and the dGPU (750m) is for power usage, like for gaming.
