I just added the 2 drives I have never had to mess with raid setups as my desktop doesn't need them. and both drives appear in my bios settings, but are not configurable in the windows os. how would I go about configuring the system to allow use of all 3?

Not exactly sure of your question? If you're are running any form of raid, then you would set them up. If you just added the extra two drives, then windows should still be boot able and you can format them from with in windows.

awesome that did it, but I didn't see anything about initializing, I just needed a to format to a usable file system, thank you so much johnksss, they came with a RAW file system I would not have figured that out, now that I got access to my drive any way to get them to run in sync as if there was a single drive, so like 3 in to 1?

No problem. Glad to help. And you might not be that bad off.

Go into the bios and set it to raid, then try to boot windows.

If windows boot's then you can just install the rst drivers from Intel's website, reboot into windows and then add the new drives to a raid zero array. It will automatically set it up and no other user intervention will be needed.

If not, it will teak just a bit more work, but can be done.

itd be a RAID 0 setup and in order to run all 3 in one sync I have to format the boot drive, set it up the RAID 0 configuration, and reinstall windows, im about to hate my self. thank you for all ur help bro the dell tech support dude ditched me as soon as I got a hold of one, but you have helped me out a lot.

That would be raid. And that would need to be set up first. Then in windows using RST you can add the drives to the raid array. If you can't boot raid then it means you dont have the raid drivers installed, but if they are. then you are good to go with setting it up.
