- Chesneychick,
Your computer has informed you that you have an incorrect version of a required dll for your particular sound card.
The first thing that you should do is run the Creative diagnostic tool that comes with the Creative software. Try locating it by going to your Start button, then to Programs, then Creative.
After you have tried the diagnostic tool (and if it does not correct the situation), then see if you can determine what version you have of the Ahqman.dll. [Your error message might give you this information]. The easiest way is to use your Find Files and folders, using Ahqman.dll in the search box, and search your entire computer.
Once you have located the existing dll, rightclick on the icon that is located next to its name (far left) and select properties from the context menu. On the properties page, there should be a tab for the version numbers.
