Connecting VCR to computer?
My Dell Dimension 8300 came with Sonic's 'MyDVD Deluxe' v5.0 which claims it will record analog to the DVD recorder.
However, I can't find any information in any of the 'help' sections on what is required to make the actual physical connection from the recorder to the computer?
Is there a special cord? Where exactly does it connect on the computer? Where might I purchase one? Anything I've forgotten to ask?
Appreciate any help at all on this. Thanks.

Much obliged. Thank you.Hey Woodsman,
You'll want to make sure that you choose the right brand video card for your app. Here are Sonics' recommendations:

Unless your PC came with a video input capability, and most likely it didn't, you will need to purchase a video interface unit. There are several on the market that will plug into USB and give you the video (and audio) interface and the needed software to edit and then burn to a DVD.
Check with stores such as Circuit City, Best Buy, etc as they have several different types. These unit are generally in the $100 range.
