Dell Resource CD Not Helping?
So ..my "studio" somehow lost its "bluetooth". Looking for Dell drivers, I inserted the Dell Resource CD and installed it - or at least I think I did? I hit finish, rebooted the PC and inserted the CD again --then NOTHING. Also can't find Dell Assessories - to look for the resource CD icon. How do I get to a menu? Any help will be appreciated.

I'm new to the forum. How do I share a screen shot?

Hi littleneil,
Below is the screenshot on how to attach files. To reply click on 'Use rich formatting':

Wait, I'm an idiot. I took the screen shot of a desktop I was logged into, not the problem Studio Laptop.

Hi littleneil,
Studio 1745/1747 system is shipped with Dell Wireless 365 2.1 Bluetooth card.
You may install the Bluetooth driver from the link below.
Keep me posted with the results. I will be glad to assist you further.

On several of these models I have found that the retaining screw for the bluetooth module is not there and so it does not "see" the module. If the screw is there then installing the 365 drivers will find it.

no dice. Both drivers installed and my Bluetooth mouse is still not seen in "devices and printers". I'm not certain where to look in device manager but I don't think there is any evidence of Bluetooth there --either?

Hi littleneil,
The Bluetooth is not getting detected in the device manager.
The issue seems to be with the Bluetooth card.
You may try reseating the Bluetooth card if comfortable to check if that resolves the issue.
Please refer to the system manual and read the safety information that shipped with your computer. The link for manual is http://bit.ly/16AHYrO.
Keep me posted with the results. I will be glad to assist you further.

Hi littleneil,
Please share the exact system model and the operating system installed.
Also, share the screenshot of Device Manager with the option expanded for Bluetooth drivers or Network adapters as applicable.
Keep me posted with the results. I will be glad to assist you further.
