If you will change into a new mobo you have to change the Processor and the RAM. Mobo that has PCI-Express 16x needs at least 800Mhz of processor and I think E310 has a max of 533Mhz of processor. If he/she wants to play games he/she needs a PCI based graphic card. the best graphic card is the Geforce 6200, another good card is Geforce 5500. You can search for it at www.newegg.com or at the www.tigerdirect.com.

And even though the card suggests a 300 watt power supply, you won't need a power supply upgrade either.  You will be fine

There is a new pci card out that is even better than the 6200, although you must be willing to spend about $130. Visontek has recently come out with a X1300 256mb DDR2 video card for the pci slot. This card has way better specs than the 6200,

I purchased the 6200 card retail and then took it back after I found out that it was PCI 2.0 not PCI 2.2 universal or PCI 2.3 There are also others that have black screen and black blocks artifacts with the card. I thought this was power supply related but found out that it was PCI Version related. Universal PCI cards have 2 keyways in them aka PCI 2.2 Non Universal 5v or 3.3v ONLY cards have 1 keyway in them./ The 3DFUSION and BFG 6200 PCI cards are 5V PCI 2.0 only. PCI SPEC 2.3 does not support 5V keyed cards. They will go into the slot but they will not work. 5V keyed cards are not supported in PCI 2.3 aka newer dells. Interesting SpeedStep, never heard anyone complaining yet on the 6200 card.  Have seen reports on the X1300 forum that also has issues.  It would be welcomed to read up on the benchmarking of this card over the 6200 PCI card.  Have not seen one yet.  Anyone has ?
