Need help with video card replacement
I have a Dimension XPS 410/9200 that came with an Nvidia GeForce 7900 GS (256k) GPU. The GPU is going bad and I want to replace it with a third party upgrade. The only specs that I can find on the Dell site (or on the whole internet, for that matter) explains that this GPU is a PCI Express. The computer was built in 2006, so I doubt that the motherboard has a PCI Express 2.0 slot, but I have been banging my head against one dead end after another trying to find out if the video cards I'm looking at will be compatible. The card I've narrowed down to is a HIS H467QS1GH Radeon HD 4670 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP. The 375 watt power supply in my Dimension should be plenty for this card, in fact, I believe this particular card is powered by the motherboard only. With the fan, the card will take up to slots. Is there anyone who could help me determine if this card will work?

It should not be a problem at all and the price on NEWEGG is pretty good. All PCIe 2.0 cards are backwards compatible with the older version and your power supply is more than enough for this card. Being a dual slot card, it just takes up two slots instead of one so you just do not want to have any cards installed immediately below it which you probably don't given that nobody uses a PCIe x4 slot for anything. The IceQ's are nice cards.
