My hard drive crashed and was corrupted beyond repair. My syst. is Dimension 4550 and I have installed new Maxtor hard drive. I am booting from cd to format the disk and install windows, but the hard drive is not detected.

Acording to manuf's instruction I shoud highlight "IDE/HDD autodetect" in Setup screen, but I can not find that option or anything like that in my Setup . I have tried many approches, but since hard drive is not detected I am not getting anywere. I have double checked cables, power, and jumper setting and they look o.k. I am desperate and appreciate any help.
