Problems With Bluetooth

I used to be able to transfer files from my computer to my bluetooth cell phone and vice versa. I would open the lg vx9900 icon on my decktop and it would show my folders in my phone ex: pics, vids. Now when i go to it, it doesn't show anything. I was on the phone with dell support yesterday for 2 hours and they said its my phone not the hardward. I unstalled bt receive driver then reinstalled. Once i did that i could see my folders once i open the lg vx 9900 icon on my desktop. The next day i go to open it and there is nothing there again. My phone is right near my computer so it should show my folders. What gives? Its a dell xps 420

Did you add the phone to your bluetooth devices?

Click on start, type bluetooth, select bluetooth devices and add the phone.  Once it's added then continue to use it and see if it disappears.

Tech support couldn't help either, huh?

If I can think of anything I will pass it along.  Unfortunately I am relatively new to bluetooth also.  Hopefully somone much smarter than I will stop in and give you some ideas.
