I have a 2007 Dell XPS 410 desktop. I recently added more ram. The computer still works great. I recently bought a video capture device- El Gato, to convert my old family vhs tapes to digital format. System requirements for the video capture are at least a 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor. My computer has a 1.87GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor. I have no idea what type of processor to buy online. Please help. I am retired and on a fixed income. That is why I am still using an older desk top. Thanks!

Prior to installing the processor, you need to check that BIOS has the latest version, because with version 2.5.1, new CPU Support was added.
