Wrong Hard Drive

Has anyone out there been able to get Dell to admit a mistake and do anything about it?
In January I ordered on line an XPS400 with a 250GB Hard Drive.  It was delivered with a 160GB Hard Drive (actually only 144GB).  I did not notice this at the time but recently I found that my capacity was getting low and then discovered the wrong HD.  Dell says they only charged me for the 160GB but they are lying since the price was almost identical to the price on the order sheet for the 250GB.  I have an 18 mo. interest free loan so the computer isn't paid for yet.  Dell says I should have let them know in 21 days after delivery and will do nothing.  I am not a computer guru so I didn't pay that much attention to the Hard Drive capacity and trusted Dell to deliver what I ordered.  That was a BIG mistake.  Is there anything I can do except cry a lot?
