9400 doesn't turn on

Hi, I'm having a problem with my 9400 it just wont turn on, not sure what happened, just went to turn it on one day and it didn't start up, no sounds, battery not dead, tried changing ram around, tried just ac power, tried just battery power, the Bluetooth light comes on and so does the power light for about 3 seconds then nothing, i spent a lot on this and am pretty disappointed right now, can any one offer me some advice? Do i need to replace the mother board or ram or cpu or video or all, or do i just find a more reliable laptop?

Ahh

Thanks,

Disappointed

With out being able to run diagnostics,my first thought would be the hard drive.

Have you tried reseating the memory? If that does work turn your machine over and remove the screw that holds the optical drive in, also remove the two screws that secure the hard drive. then try to start the machine. if this doesn't work its your motherboard that is faulty.

I had the same problem, replaced motherboard with no luck, replaced processor with no luck. Took it to a friend of mine that works with Intel he tells me it's the

graphics card. The graphics card runs  about $350, if i don't find a good deal on one i will part my machine out and buy a new one. It won't be a Dell!!!!!!!!!!!!!
