I note the problems with 1520 bricks.   I just ordered a 1520.  It has a 90W.   I am replacing my dead L610.  It had a PA-6 70W. 

Question is:
Could I use this as an occasional Aux supply? 

I'd like to keep it by the ol' recliner where I use the laptop from time to time.  Would save digging behind stuff to unplug the 'real' one.   It isn't used a lot there.  I'd just like to be able to run for a while or keep it charged for a while in between sessions.
