I have a Inspiron 1000 notebook and my screen goes black  when I try to adjust it. I have to manually cut it off and turn it back on. When I get it turned back on, and if I touch the screen again, it goes black again. I had the computer sitting on the coffee table and the dog knocked it off. I have rebooted it a couple time so its like out of the box. Everything else seems to work fine except for the screen going black. What do you think the problem could be? Thanks for the help.
