D600 and USB problem

Hi,

I had my IT to re-install WinXP on my D600, and since then I have problem with some of my USB peripherals (B4 it was working just fine). The peripherals concerned are my PDA and my Bluetooth key. All the other peripherals are either mouse or mass storage devices. All of them are USB 1.1 compliant.

I have install the latest Notebook System Software (R82491.EXE). But this did not solve the problem.

I have SP2 installed but it was also there on my previous installation.

It looks like some drivers have been up-date in a later release of Widows.

Could someone please help me?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Marc.

I think I may have missed something, did you actually explain what the problem was?  What exactly do you mean?  What isn't working?

The problem is random. when connecting device sometimes is works and sometimes I have the following message:

    "USB device not recognised"

Re-booting does not has any effect. Within the same Windows session, it can work then not, then work again.

I'm gettinig the same problem but i don't have time to have my computer offline so long and replace all the information.

    What the heck.

It feels like if i hold the laptop with just my left hand gripping onto the wrist pad on the left of the touch pad - it stopped beeping and popping up. i think the factory botched the installation of the card maybe.
