I recently ordered a Dell Inspiron 14z and I ordered Sound Baster X-Fi. when the Digital Delivery poped up yesterday it showed the software to be downloaded, but the status of the download is "waiting". what is "waiting"? What do I have to do to make is work?

I'm having the exact same problem - except it's trying to download some update to "ID Protection". It will not stop popping up  and taking up half of my desktop and offers no way to shut it down other than ctrl-alt-del.

This is SO frustrating! Mine is a Dell Inspiron 14z too.

Hope someone from Dell comes along and gives us an answer quick.

Hi, What web browser are you using, Dell do recommend IE as a web browser.

I am having the same problem on an Inspiron N7110, and I am not sure how it is related to a browser, since it is not popping up in a browser window.

same here with my Inspiron 15R and it's very ANNOYING!

What ended up happening was that the download started and finally worked several weeks later. I don't know how or why but it just randomly started working. I had tech support try to hep before/ but they couldn't get it to work. So maybe if you wait it will work? I don't know.
