Forgot Dell System & Administrator Password??
Hi, I bought my laptop lastyear when I went away overseas. I havent used it since for at least a few months as I always use the home computer. The other day I tried to log on & cant remember the passwords I put in.I have two of them, the System password followed by administrator password. Any idea how to fix both passwords without deleting documents, photos? Etc. Thanks for your help.

Remove the hard drive, mount it in an external case, and attach it to a working system to back up your files. Then return the drive to the system and do a factory restore.
This assumes you're asking about windows passwords - if it's a system BIOS password, you will need to call Dell and verify your ownership of the system.
