ok so i just recieved my new dell laptop, Inspiron N5110, and i have this werid empty void on the top of my screen. i can make it go away by literaly moving the task bar to the top of the screen, then moving it back down to the bottom again. very anoying, look at attached pics for what is happening to my comp. 

thats full screen but yet there is a space where i can see my desktop at the top of any application i run... help!
