hard drive connector problem?
Hi guys
I just bought a connector over the internet for my C610/510....after buying a hard drive and new copy of XP Home thinking I had the problem solved. A shop told me today that the drive was not being seen by the software,; a connection problem. So I bought a connector found by chance on Ebay. Now what do I do!!!??? I've never opened a computer. Any ideas including psychiatric help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi,
I am not clear on your problem, but if you replace the HDD, you have to fit the adapter or it wont work. It will push onto the pins. You take it off the old one. Are you able to give some more detail ?
