Latitude C600

We have a Latitude C600 purchased in May 2001, running WIN98SE. The LCD display starting acting weird, some wavering, but mostly when in apps the screen is a gray/pink tone. CRT monitor hooked up, it's ok, dock and it's ok, diagnostic and black to white bars show some pink wavering. I guess I will need to replace the LCD display? I have been told that if the laptop was left out in a cold vehicle that this could have done it. Any thoughts?

    Hi,

    It may be the LCD, but the flex-cable can cause some wierd problems. It is far cheaper and may be worth a try. If that doesnt fix it, the LCD would be suspect.
