New BIOS A_13 released for D800

Just happened to spot a new BIOS and no Email on this from FileWatch, yet.

The following updates were made to the A12 BIOS to create the A13 BIOS:

The above is the dreaded Windows Version :(number thirteen, no less:(

I would think that this would allow the DOS version, could this be done with a USB Floppy Drive, or burned on a CD???

When I hear a "POP" on POST. I just know that it had a problem on last shutdown.

That is extremely rare and usually boots with no pops.

It is still validated for XP service pack 1, maybe I will wait to see if there is a BIOS_14:)

Edit: Since I was stuck with 333MHz RAM running at 266, I used a DOS command /forcetype Flash to change to M60 BIOS and fix the RAM speed, all the Issues Fixed and
Enhancements listed were identical to this A13 without mention of "(SP1)" see THIS thread
