Hello everyone. I am a real newbie. Not 1337, see.

I have an I6400. I recently decided to format it and start afresh since it needed a good cleanout.

I thought it would be straightforward. I inserted the XP CD and reinstalled Windows.

I am now trying to reinstall the drivers. I have the LOB program open, and I know I am supposed to install certain drivers in a certain

sequence. I know that all the drivers I need have ticks.  I accidentally installed SIGMATEL STAC 92XX C-Major HD Audio Re: A06, which did not

have a tick (hopefully this won't be a huge problem).

 

My question is - is there not an easier way? Is it really necessary to install the drivers manually? I should have used System Restore, I know,

but hindsight is a great thing. Can anyone help? Thanks.
