Start up system password

Hi, i am using inspiron 14 3000 series laptop. i enabled the system password. now every time i need to use the password.

How can i disable this?

Hi,

Are you talking about windows User Password or Syskey function Password?

I have to give the password after startup( before user password screen come).

Hi,

You want to disable BIOS password. Am I right?

Press F2 while Dell logo appears and it will enter BIOS windows

Find the setting for BIOS

Give the right password

disable it and save the settings.

Restart your system.

If you can not find the right setting. Send me your BIOS Window Screen shot. After that I will guide you to disable.

Enter setup after you enter the existing password (F2). There will be a change password field - leave both entries blank. Save and restart.
