Studio 1558 Bluetooth
Hi everybody, I bought a Studio 1558 laptop from Ebay today "Parts or Not Working" and 30 minutes later I had restored it to full working order and it is a lovely piece of kit. However there is nothing in the WWAN card slot and since there appears to be no Bluetooth I assume thats where the Bluetooth card goes? Am I right in thinking this and what is the serial number of the part I am looking for?

Hi Alan,
Dell Studio 1558 has a separate slot for Bluetooth card and is offered with the following Bluetooth Daughter Card (BDC) as a bluetooth option.
The part number for Bluetooth Module is RM948
If you want to purchase it from Dell and if you are in US, you may contact Dell Spare Parts at 1800 372 3355.
You may purchase the above part number and install it into the system (if comfortable). For installing/replacing components, you may refer to Owner's Manual Here.
Note : Please follow the safety instructions given in manual before installing/replacing parts.
