Very poor performance after BIOS-Update
Hello,
I am a owner of an Dell Studio XPS 16(45) and i have the following problem.
The whole System seems to be very slow.
The Dell-BIOS-Logo needs about 15 seconds to disappear and when windows booted up, it is much slower than normal.
This changed with the BIOS Update A11 which i executed last week.
In Microsoft Office Word 2010 it takes up to 1 second to show the text i wrote! And that isnt normal with an i7 CPU.
In 3D-Games there are freezes every few seconds (up to 5 seconds between the 1 second long freezes).
As mentioned that started with the Update to A11 BIOS.
Is there a way to disable the Version checking and re-flash the BIOS?
the Dell diagnostig system didn found anything so i think it was a bad flash of the BIOS.
I hope there is an solution
With best regards,
Oberoth
EDIT:
i want to mention that i re-installed windows a few times and tried diffrent drivers (from dell homepage and ati-homepage)

but i want to reinstall it...
