3007WFP, cannot change resolution from 1280x800?

Hi all,

My 3007WFP was off for about a year, and recently I plugged it back in and I can't change the resolution to anything other than 1280x800 which now is also marked as recommended (not true in the past). Every time I attempt to change I get a different behavior per config, but most of them I get a black screen or some the weir colored lines. Has anyone been through this, and are there any solutions that one could do at home?

The only resolutions supported by the 3007WFP are 1280x800 (Single Link) and 2560x1600 (Dual Link). To get the higher resolution of 2560x1600, the video card must have a DVI-D Dual Link out port and you must be using a DVI-D Dual Link cable. The left one in the picture. Check these and post back.

Hey DELL-Chris M, thanks a lot, that worked perfectly. I actually thought I only had cables DVI-D cables, so I never checked it, but your suggestion made me think and check.
