D3218HN, randomly blacks out 2-3 seconds

I have a Dell D3218HN monitor connected to my PC via HDMI (due to limited output via PC). The screen goes black randomly for 2-3 seconds at a time. Sometimes it doesn't do it for hours, other times it does it every couple of minutes. Since I use this to work at home, this is becoming quite a problem. What can I do to remedy?

Thank you

    * What PC model?
    * What operating system?
    * Is the monitor connected to the motherboard onboard video out ports or an added discrete video card?
    * If an added discrete video card
    - what specific video card?
    - what video out ports are on the video card?

    *HP Pavilion Desktop PC 570-p0xx

    *Windows 10 Home

    *Connected directly to the PC via HDMI, so I am assuming that is the "onboard video out port".  I have not added any video cards. But just to be safe, I added a screenshot from the "Advanced Display Settings" showing the monitor info.

    * Since your PC at home is used for work, you should always have another monitor ready to use
    * Test a different HDMI to HDMI cable (perhaps ours is defective)
    * Test our HDMI to HDMI cable and D3218HN on a different source PC to see if the issue appears

    I have two monitors. The other one works fine, but I need both. I dont have a different PC to test. HDMI cable checks out fine. I switched the two monitors cables. The second monitor still working fine, the Dell still spazzing out.
