looking at 2001FP LCD

I'm looking into purchasing a 2001FP and I just wanted to ask a few questions.

1) Does it matter what video card you have as long it has DVI? Currenty I have an Nvidia 5700LE card. Is this alright? It does support resolutions higher than the 2001FP's natural. I heard something about only being able to use an ATI 9800 or better ATI card and ant least a 6800 nvidia, but I find that highly unlikey as the nvidia card is high end right now.

2) It says it has S-video. Is this out only or also in? Can I hook up a VCR if I really wanted to for some strange reason?

3) This is not a widescreen monitor right?

Thanks.

    1) As long as your card has DVI output that will support the native resolution of the monitor - in this case 1600x1200 - then they will work together.

    2) S-Video input, so you should be able to hook up something like a VCR if you like.

    3) Yes, this is not a widescreen monitor.

One more question. I'm also looking at the 2005FPW and it had a list of video cards, only the nvidia 6800 and 6800 GTO were listed from nvidia, 256 Mb cards, do only those cards along with the ATI cards listed support that monitor? And what is WSXGA+?
