Think anyone from anywhere can assist you if you need help, not just the LA area.  Just a thought.  That's the beauty of this forum

Thanks SR45.  I've been through all the steps that can be done long distance.   The next step would be to try and find someone with one working on their system and see if mine works there.   That's the reason for this.

I'm a little confused ean8.  Limited number of owners in one city.  Get all involved around the Globe with your monitor model, and a better chance to solve your issue.

Post your issue here or better, start another post with the problems you are having, and many more than just LA, Simi Valley, Chatsworth, Granada Hills, Northridge, etc may have an answer.  Posting your issues here will get all the Countries that may have your monitor or those that may know of an answer.   Not always, but a chance.

    Hi SR45,

You're just confused because you don't have all the info. I've already gotten ALL the tech info and things to try on my own from Dell and other users in other threads and PM's here. I've done all those things already, a great many good ideas, but don't happen to solve my case.

So I'm not re-hashing that here.

The only next step would be to try physical testing with a known working monitor or system that has one. That's what this thread is looking for.

So that's why it has to be in driving distance to me. I said "greater LA", which of course includes the places you mentioned: "LA, Simi Valley, Chatsworth, Granada Hills, Northridge", and a lot more.

    Clearer now?
