max refresh on the 2001FP?

Hi. Anyone happen to know the max refresh rate on the 2001 FP, running at 1600x1200? Also, does refresh rate even matter for LCDs?

Thanks for any info,

Mike

Refresh rate should be set to 60 Hz on LCDs.  On some screens higher refresh rate causes blurry distorted pictures.

I believe the 1600x1200 its 60 - but if you drop the resolution downward you should be able to increase it. This also depends of course on the graphic card too.

There's no reason to have a fast refresh. Unlike CRTs, the LCDs have memory so the image doesn't need to be refreshed. There's no flicker.
