Whither 2709W?
So at the moment that I finally thought I'd get a 2709W, it disappears. I haven't seen it for about a week. Does anyone know if the 2709W is officially discontinued? Or is it just so backordered that they took it off the websites? (It was showing a slow deliver the last time I saw it.)
I suspect that the monitor is done, but I haven't seen anything official. Does anyone know for sure if it will ever be back?

Yes. They ran out of the 2709W on the outlet site just shortly before it was dropped on the Home and Business sites. At this moment, they still show 5 of the 2709W displays in stock at Provantage, but the quantity has been dropping fast. Also, it's not clear to me what the warranty period would be. I decided to pull out a couple of additional C notes and get the U2711 instead.

It's not on the Dell Outloet site either. This is the closest you can get.
