Hi there,
We have NetApp filer, and we are backing up theis filer via NDMP, we are trying to configure a client to backup the filer.
when we run the backup we get this error:
1 retry attempted

42610:nsrndmp_save: The NDMP connection is not successfully authorized on host 'stg02'.
42884:nsrndmp_save: Not able to connect or authorize the client 'stg02'
Would you please help me to fix this issue/

Hi,
This looks like a username and password problem. Check that you have a valid username and passwort for the filer in the Client definition in NetWorker:

Thank you Bobby for your response, yet I still need your help.
When I clicked on the link you provide me, I found that:
NDMP client configuration must have the following fields defined
1. Remote User:root
2. password:password-of-the-NDMP-server(Filer)
Is this the user name and password?
If not where can I find the user name and password for my filer?
Many thanks Bobby
