Hi everyone,

This is my first post so please excuse me if i ask any stupid questions:emotion-7: Well I recenly purchased a Dell Studio XPS 13.4" laptop around a month ago with all the trimmings. Now Im pretty good with most hardware software issues but Im at my wits end with the current problem I am having. Short of opening up the laptop myself and voiding the warranty I dont know what to do.

I keep on getting the same error which just randomly started happening around 2 weeks ago. Usually when I start the laptop up and windows vista loads up, once i log in, my windows sidebar loads, anti virus etc, and when my bluetooth tries to intialize i always get this error:

"The application failed to intialize properly (0xc0150004). Click OK to terminate the application."

At first I thought it was a simple error which could be fixed by re-installing the bluetooth drivers. After trying this and failing I when to:

start > search > bluetooth devices > bluetooth settings > Hardware (tab) > properties

There is nothing showing in the properties. The laptop seems as though there is no bluetooth hardware installed. When I tried to change the settings to make the bluetooth discoverable it returns an error message saying that the bluetooth device I am trying to use may not be plugged in. After this I checked the Device Manager to see if the laptop itself was picking up any bluetooth hardware. there is no bluetooth device being detected at all by the laptop and it doesnt even show in the device manager. I am totally baffled as to how this has happened. Short of opening up the laptop and re-sitting the bluetooth card is there any other solution? Iv kept the laptop in an excellent condition, havent dropped it or jogged it in anyway to knock anything out of place.

If anyone had any suggestions please post up as the help is much appriciated.
